Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Icyform has no account and no player profile on our servers. Your progress stays on your device, purchases are handled by Apple, and ads come from our advertising partners. We do not sell your personal information.
What stays on your device
Level, stars, coins, boosters, tutorial flags and settings are saved by the game on your iPhone. They never reach us and we cannot read them. Deleting the app deletes this data, and we cannot restore it.
Purchases
Coin packs, boosters and Remove Ads are sold through the Apple App Store and processed by Apple. We never receive your name, card details or Apple ID. The game only checks a signed receipt so it can grant what you bought and restore it on your devices with the same Apple account.
Advertising
The game shows optional rewarded ads (for example a second chance or extra coins) and interstitial ads between levels. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. The parties involved are:
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — ad delivery and measurement, including the ad auction Google runs for our ad units
- Google User Messaging Platform (Google LLC) — the consent form shown in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, which records your consent choices
These partners may process the advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address and an approximate city-level location, device model, operating system, language, screen size, network type, which ads were shown, clicked or completed, and a coarse device or app identifier used for frequency capping and fraud prevention. They use it to deliver ads, cap how often you see one, measure performance, detect fraud, and only with your permission personalise ads.
Your choice about tracking
On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the IDFA is not used for tracking and we request non-personalised ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, limit ad personalisation in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, or buy Remove Ads to stop our ad requests. Removing ads does not delete data the partners already hold; their own privacy policies explain how to exercise rights with them.
Support messages
If you write to us through the support form, we receive your email address and whatever you write, such as your device model, iOS version and a screenshot. We use it only to answer you and fix the problem, and we delete it within 12 months after the conversation ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
What we do not collect
In version 1.0 the game does not collect your name, email or phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, health data or browsing history, and it runs no analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDK of ours. If a future version adds any of this, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
We rely on your consent for personalised advertising and tracking, on performance of a contract for purchases and restores, on our legitimate interest in running a free game free of abuse for non-personalised ads, frequency capping and fraud prevention, and on legitimate interest or consent for answering support messages. You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS settings, without affecting processing that already happened.
Sharing and transfers
We share data only with Apple, the advertising partners listed above, and service providers acting for us under contract. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising except through those partners and only with your permission. Advertising partners are global companies and may process data outside the EEA and UK, including in the United States, under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Local game data stays until you delete the app. Ad data is kept by the partners under their own schedules, typically up to 13 months for measurement identifiers; we hold no copy. Support messages are deleted within 12 months after the conversation ends.
Your rights
EEA and UK: you can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, ask for portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your supervisory authority. Because we hold almost no data about you, many requests are answered by explaining that the information lives on your device or with Apple.
California and other US states: you can ask what is collected, ask us to delete or correct it, opt out of sale or sharing, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of ad-related sharing, decline tracking in iOS or buy Remove Ads.
To exercise any right, use the support form and mention "privacy". We answer within the time the law requires, usually 30 days (45 in California), and may need to confirm the request concerns you.
Children
Icyform is a puzzle game for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in parts of the EEA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the ads in the game are not child-directed. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us through the support form and we will delete what we control and help you contact the partner. Parents can also disable tracking, restrict purchases and turn on Screen Time in iOS settings.
Security
Local data is protected by iOS app sandboxing, purchase receipts are checked on the device, and traffic to ad partners uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you and the law requires notification, we will notify you and the competent authority.
Changes
We may update this policy when the game changes, for example if we add cloud saves, analytics or another ad partner. The date at the top always shows the current version.
Who we are
Icyform is made by DPMEDIA (Dawid Pera), a one-person studio in the European Union, Poland. Contact: support form. If you are in the EEA and we cannot resolve your concern, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
